Client Service Engineer

Client Service Engineers are responsible for providing high level engineering support to domestic and international clients of the TEKON ENERJİ Service Program. Engineers will also be required to perform substation apparatus testing and to support the TEKON ENERJİ Client Conferences. The Client Service Engineer position is based in the Istanbul.  

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide support on operating procedures and problems related to DOBLE Products.
  • Provide support on non- DOBLE test procedures.
  • Performing HV Diagnostic tests on HV System equipments, evaluating the results according to international standards & DOBLE Eng norms.
  • Provide engineering support and written reports on the interpretation of data measured by DOBLE & other measuring products.
  • Provide training to clients to clients on the use of DOBLE products and the Interpretation of data collected.
  • Author papers for TEKON ENERJİ conferences.
  • Maintain an on-going dialogue with all assigned clients.
  • Review submitted test data sheets and provide written reports on abnormal conditions.
  • Provide support to other engineers in the department or other departments with in the company.
  • Provide quarterly report, on assigned client activities to department manager.
  • Domestic and International travel is required to provide training, diagnostic field testing, attend meetings and installation of DOBLE software on client computers and test equipment.
  • Participate in conferences / trade shows and other company sponsored events.
  • Continuously work to upgrade skills concerning computers, software, test theory, test equipment operation, apparatus operation and training presentations in accordance with ISO 9001 Standard Operating Procedures.
The ideal candidate:
  • Four-year college or university.
  • 5 years experience in Electric Utility or related industry.
  • Must be fluent in Turkish and English.
  • Ability to express ideas clearly in both written and oral communications.
  • Must be highly organized and have the ability to multi-task projects.
  • Ability to independently plan and organize one's own activities.
  • Domestic and international travel is required.
  • Strong services orientation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Laboratory Support Technician

The Laboratory Support Technician will be responsible for sample preparation, testing, data entry and laboratory clean-up. The ideal candidate will be hard working, organized, computer literate and able to follow directions clearly. The Laboratory Support Technician is based in Istanbul Office.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Oil sample testing under the direction of the Laboratory Manager.
  • Computer entry for information on incoming samples, customer information, data entry, word processing.
  • Preparation and shipping of sample containers.
  • Answering the telephone, filing and miscellaneous office support as needed.
  • Interaction with clients and co-workers as needed by the Laboratory Manager.
  • Clean sample containers.
  • Adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe laboratory environment.
  • Related duties as assigned by the Laboratory Manager
The ideal candidate:

  • Must be well organized.
  • Experience in a laboratory environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite preferred.
  • Knowledge of Siebel is preferred.
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is often required to stand for extended periods of time, bend, sit, walk, utilize oral and written communication to interact with co-workers, perform manual tasks which require arm strength and dexterity, life and move samples and containers.
  • The position involves the use of computers, reading, writing, use of fax machines, use of copy machines, use of telephone and use of laboratory instrumentation.
