Vibration monitoring

A simple routine test is done to indicate unusual vibration levels.

IMCA tests for induction motors

This test is performed on induction motors. The Induction Motor Current Analyzer (IMCA) is used to detect rotor broken bars. This is an on-line test: the input to the analyzer is obtained from an electrically isolated clip on probe coupled to the motor current metering circuit.
